1. Identity & grievance contact (DPDP §13)

The Service is operated by eMunimJi ("we", "us"). For any privacy concern, complaint, or rights request, contact our Grievance Officer:

eMunimJi never sells your data. The following processors handle data on our behalf, each bound by a Data Protection Agreement:

5. Retention & lifecycle (DPDP storage limitation)

Your activity keeps your account alive. Retention timeline:

You can pause (pause), restore (restore), or fully delete (delete my data) at any time via WhatsApp DM. After hard delete we retain only consent + retention audit rows (with opaque tenant IDs only).

6. Your rights

Erasure is irreversible. After anonymise, your data cannot be recovered even if you re-sign-up — that creates a fresh account.

eMunimJi is NOT a SEBI-registered investment adviser. All investment outputs — invest forecast, peer-comparison, smart Q&A — are information only:

8. WhatsApp messaging policy

By signing up, you opt in to receive transactional and operational DMs:

Opt out anytime: pulse off (monthly pulse only) · STOP (all DMs, account pauses) · delete my data (full erasure).

Outbound DMs honour WhatsApp's 24-hour session window. We do not send marketing templates without your prior opt-in.

Each workspace is independently Free or Paid, priced by workspace type. Trial expiry auto-downgrades the workspace to Free with a grace period; all data is preserved during grace. After grace, the soft-archive timer begins per §5.

The Service is provided "as is". eMunimJi is not liable for:

To the extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is capped at the fees you have paid us in the last 12 months.

11. Children's data (DPDP §9)

The Service is not intended for users under 18. By tapping I Agree (18+) you confirm you are 18 or older. If we discover an under-18 account, we will hard-delete it immediately.

12. Society-specific clauses

Society subscriptions involve processing resident data (phone numbers, billing entries, visitor logs). When the Society treasurer / admin signs up:

14. Changes to these Terms

When we update these Terms, existing tenants receive a re-consent prompt within a 14-day grace window. During grace, all features keep working. After grace, Paid features lock until you re-accept; basic features remain available for another 60 days. After 90 days of silence + non-acceptance, treated as withdrawn consent → anonymise + 30-day hard-delete.

15. Governing law & dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by Indian law. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of (insert city), India. We attempt good-faith resolution via the Grievance Officer before any court action.
